How is jabberd project developed, maintained and released?

We share Linus point of view here: Developers are for developing. Stabilizing is a job of distributors.

jabberd project releases a new version every time a significant set of changes is made to the sources to make them publically available. Development branches are available through Subversion branches.

Quick conclusions:

• If you do not feel the release is stable enough to be included in the distribution - do not include it.
• If you do not feel the release is stable enough for production system - do not put it on production.
